MY
STORY
I was born on New Year's eve of 1987 in the bustling city of Tbilisi, Georgia in a very traditional Yazidi family. At the age of 12 I learned the craft of hairstyling following the guidance of my uncle, who owned a salon in town. While originally it was just a hobby, it soon became my true passion. I felt the creative drive to not just cut hair, but to truly style and design it in innovative and fashionable ways. With the support of my family, I went to beauty school to pursue my dream to become a professional hairstylist. As I matured into my teenage years, I discovered my true identity as a gay woman, and it was the start of my most profound journey of self-discovery.  I moved to Saint Petersburg, Russia where I continued to work in the industry. I won multiple awards for my creative hairstyles and techniques, eventually leading me to open my first studio, specializing in a full array of hair services and complete makeovers for my customers. After years of successful business I made a difficult life-altering decision to move to the US to find the acceptance and love I felt had been denied to me in my home country. Upon arriving in the States, I found the new beginnings open up with endless possibilities, ready to take my stylist skills to a complete new level. I embrace the freedom of being able to continue with my lifelong dream of styling.
